Sandals and lentils? Not so much.

We're just normal people who have realised that if we want a decent place to live, we have to stand up and campaign for it.

If you don't want Reform's incompetence and division, now is the time to do something about it!

These benches on the Ware to Hertford towpath look fantastic.

We're delighted that Hannah Spencer won in Gorton & Denton.

There will be local elections here too next year. Help us make sure that the politics of hope wins in East Herts.

We need volunteers and funds. If you can help, please step up. eastherts.greenparty.org.uk/get-involved/

Another councillor leaves "unfit for purpose" Reform, alleging incompetence and hushing up problems at regional and national levels.

He suggests Reform have tried to increase their locality budget funding to support charities of their own partners.

Government has cut funds for the school holiday food vouchers, meaning children go hungry. The Tory proposal to reinstate vouchers for one half term isn't good enough.

We're calling on County to help and to lobby government for support. @kirstytm.bsky.social

'You can protest but only according to our rules. The rules are: you're not allowed to use any of the tactics that make protest effective.'

Every day the cruel two-child benefit cap pushes an additional 109 children into poverty.

Keeping it is a political choice.

Scrapping it would lift 300,000 kids out of poverty overnight.

The government needs to scrap the cap immediately & give every child the chance to thrive.

Very cool concept, like a mega allotment association. I wonder how the β€˜collaboration’ for decision making works in practice? I suppose enforcement of the land usage poses some problems.

What are the arguments against public ownership?

Other than a select few losing the opportunity to make money from an essential utility at the expense of the public?
