I had way too much fun writing this review. Some thoughts:
"From Isabella recounting the end of Romeo and Juliet to surrounding Cathy’s father with piles of empty wine bottles, Fennell would rather bash her viewers with (obvious) subtext, rather than let the story speak for itself."
