🗣️Some of you are just finding out about Alabama’s next nitrogen-gassing on March 12. We can, each of us, through our words and our actions, paint a picture of nitrogen-gassings as something base, something below us, something unquestionably un-American and unacceptable. www.yahoo.com/news/atrocit...
On March 12, contravening the wishes of the victim’s daughter, Alabama will savagely gas-torture an 8th man to death—a 75-year-old poor Black man in a wheelchair suffering from rheumatoid arthritis who didn’t kill anyone (a codefendant who received a life sentence did). www.yahoo.com/news/alabama...
🚥Hi. There’s a whole heap of bad things going on in the world right now, but in irie reggae news: I just spoke with one of Jamaica’s most legendary singers, Mr. Ken Boothe, and we have an interview planned for April which will eventually be published by @reggae-vibes-nl.bsky.social Seen? Blessings🙏🏻

Some of you have read my essay about “the inhumanity of Charles Burton’s execution”—who’s to be gassed to death March 12. Thank you. With this post, I want to recirculate my 2024 essay advancing “5 reasons why Alabama shouldn't gas human beings to death.” www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinio...

Hello. I’d like to thank Alabama’s best newspaper, The Montgomery Advertiser and also USATODAY, for publishing my new poem (www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...): “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee, Not Trump.” Here is a free link to the poem, which I hope you’ll read and also share. Thank you! archive.ph/gAnTn
I don’t think a lot of people realize Alabama’s next nitrogen-gassing is March 12, the victim’s daughter is against it, &, the defendant is a poor already-dying and wheelchair-bound Black man who wasn’t the triggerman (the triggerman got a life sentence). www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinio...
🚥 Some irie news, reggae fans: Part 1 of my Pablove Black interview (the transcript is just shy of 10,000 words and 75-mins of audio which will also be released) has been submitted for publication @reggae-vibes-nl.bsky.social Also my part 3 interview of Jah Life is this weekend. Bless up! #Reggaesky

Also, I don’t think Canadians are fans of gassing-torture executions—like they have a lot of in Tuberville’s state. bsky.app/profile/step...
🗣️ Hi. I’ve been posting these last few days about Alabama’s next nitrogen-gassing-torture execution—it’s 8th—set for March 12. Continuing in that vein, I’m reposting this essay I published after Alabama’s 7th nitrogen-gassing-torture execution in October. www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinio...
How do you like this photo I took of Shinehead the day he spoke to me—and provided the quote in your piece?
About the state of our union: On March 12, despite the victim’s daughter opposition, Alabama will torture to death—by nitrogen-gassing—a poor, 75-year-old already-dying Black man who wasn’t the triggerman (that person got “life”). See my timeline for more info. Thanks. www.yahoo.com/news/atrocit...
This past weekend I posted my new essay about Alabama’s next gassing of a poor, Black, already suffering and dying wheelchair-bound septuagenarian on March 12 (see my timeline for that). Today I’m reissuing this general commentary I wish more people would heed. Thx. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...
Yeah, I think we’re likely on the same page here—about that (nitrogen-gassing). bsky.app/profile/step...
