CA Attorney General Rob Bonta finds unsafe and unsanitary conditions at the newly opened California City ICE detention center run by CoreCivic. CoreCivic has said they're following all fed regs. DOJ staff finds some detainees have to spend 23-24 hours a day in their housing unit.

When he was held overnight in the basement of the San Diego federal courthouse, he told his wife he could hear babies crying through the night.
