NIH funded research at @ukresearch.bsky.social is critical to helping those affected by SUDs throughout the commonwealth and beyond!
Anybody else having NIH grant applications be bounced around study sections? I've got an R01 that's now on its fifth or sixth study section assignment...not loving these "efficiency" disruptions to NIH.
Took a break from socials for Lent but this paper came out during that time, so I'm publicizing it now.
Very proud of our team's work to show benefits of non-abstinence cocaine treatment outcomes!

Honored to have been selected for @acnporg.bsky.social membership! #acnp2024
The first paper from our prospective trial evaluating cocaine use reduction as a non-abstinence outcome. TLDR: reducing cocaine use can promote immune activation. Stay tuned for more results soon!
