Halo 1-3, ODST and Reach actually have broadly above average writing, even if the basic premise is very Aliens with Super Soldiers and Bible references. Lots of memorable characters and lines, complex and interesting worldbuilding etc.
Nothing that's followed Bungie's work has filled those shoes

All of which are big New Vegas themes especially!
But the show loves the bits of the NCR who are making something new. Maximus is never more rewarded than when he's standing up for the ideals they believed in and carrying their legacy forward. He's never more punished than when he clings to the strength of the old-world obsessed Brotherhood.
And most importantly: They get on a fundamental level that all of these factions obsessed with the old world are fundamentally incapable of ushering in the new. Which means they all suck in realistic ways.
I saw S2 and went "oh, the showrunners made season 1 just so they could make the New Vegas season"
There's so much stuff they threw in from that game just to be able to have it there! They didn't need to make it so you could recognise specific sets from the game the moment they arrived there!
So this one is either a V3 or a V5, depending on what you whisper into the holds when you start

I planned on drawing them rock-climbing forever, but didn't quite have the inspiration for how to best do it until now.
It was a tricky pose to get right, but I like to imagine they're climbing a sea arch over water on a sunny day!

Got around to colouring a sketch from around Xmas last year. I wanted to draw Ash with full antlers, and try play around with their anatomy, because I felt like the last couple of pieces had made them too lanky.
My idea is that their horns grow like hair into full antlers if not trimmed.

I never played Tyranny but I definitely got the vibe that there was some of that DNA in the game. And it is a really good setup!
Meanwhile, I think the game was designed with the assumption you wouldn't know who Woedica was, because boy does it try to present her as someone you might want to side with. And boy if you know anything about Woedica, do you know she's the Caesar's Legion of the gods.
I absolutely love what Avowed does with Sapadal. Reminds me of Bioshock 2 in a really good way, only you get to have a way more in-depth relationship with them than in that game.
