I think the takeaway from all of this is - as creators understand the tools we have and use them to the best of their intent.

As a vtuber MyOshi is a great platform to meet other folks with your vibe. Use it to make new friends you can talk shop with and build great relationships with.

Thats part of meeting new people and keeping in touch for sure!

I think the big thorn in the side is the folks just using it as another place to post go lives. I'm for people doing what they want, but I think folks doing that are maybe missing the intent of the site.

I mean it's been pretty clear that from the beginning My Oshi is more a networking site and not a BSky or Twitter?

A lot of people went there to meet other creators, so behavior that doesn't fit that pattern is gonna annoy people for sure.

I think that the mute tab in chrome now mutes all tabs from that site. So it would mute every twitch stream, which isn't always what you want.

There's a plugin to restore it so it just does the tab I think - and thats what I've been using.

But the fact that we have to do it is dumb.

I often tune in to friends during the day while I can't always listen in, but people have live captions.

I don't need to have audio to interact yet I don't count because it's muted?

Continued enshittification of services for the sake of numbers.

I'm sure lurkers still count for their side of the ad revenue numbers though....
