Picky Eaters and Messy Guests (Haiku Poetry) Besides the birdfeeder being licked clean and delicate hoof prints in the snow, I found this fresh evidence of visiting deer: Here's my haiku about it (not about the poop, about the visiting deer): I captured this image a few years back. It's probably this deer's grandchildren who are pooping in my backyard and thoroughly emptying the birdfeeder minus the sunflower seeds!
