Last year, Indigenous scholars gathered in Aotearoa for the Taikura Summit. Among them was Kahsennarò:roks Deom, a UBC (@ubcoceans.bsky.social) master’s student in Indigenous Fisheries. Below, she shares her key learnings from the summit, including the power of language and “collectivizing.”
