I'm happy to see Mt Mitchell reopened as of yesterday. It was great to be here again. I have missed these trails very much. The last time we were up here was 6 days before Helene hit. It was a beautiful rainy and foggy adventure.

Today is the last day Trve Brewing here in Asheville, and the original location in Denver will be open. Thanks for all the amazing memories here. We're all going to miss it. I'm not crying. You're crying π Ya'll stop by for one last beer and treat my friend behind the bar, well. β€οΈ
The aldi in east Asheville reopened today. This was the last store I went to on the 25th of September right after work before the Swannanoa River flooded this store. I'm just happy to see another place reopen after Helene.
I'm so proud of my city. Asheville showed up yesterday for No Kings Day. πͺ
Foundy in the RAD. They were working on the Marquee today. β€οΈ
I'm in Asheville, and I didn't even know there was an earthquake. Apparently, everyone else felt the earthquake. I was lying in bed on my phone and didn't notice anything.
Ah yes, the great country of Mattel. The one that borders Legoland.
How about that hail we got earlier? Oof. My poor car.
If as President you answer βI donβt knowβ when asked if youβll follow the Constitution, you have violated your oath of office and should be removed.
Some prints of my photography.
More work has been done to the marquee.

Remnants of Helene.

I'm just tired of seeing constant shit posts about Asheville being unsafe. I've lived in cities where as a woman, was unsafe to walk out of at night. I used to live in a city where I heard gunshots every night, people being trafficked, mugged outside their apts. I haven't felt unsafe here. Stop
People who constantly shit on Asheville and call it crime infested or homeless infested. Have never lived anywhere else in their lives and it shows. I've lived in a lot of places that I've felt unsafe in. I've not felt unsafe here in Asheville. Go gain perspective.
Yall need to start vetting people in the local music scene. Some of your local band members have hateful views towards transpeople. Call out your friends when they post shit like that instead of ignoring it. Gross behavior.
Felt surreal to drive on Swannanoa river road again after 6 months.
Driving on the newly paved roads now, the remnants of buildings and crushed cars remain on the sides of the road, painful reminders of the storms destruction. We're starting to rebuild and return to some sort of normalcy.
Everytime I go to work, I see the barricades slowly move further and further back on tunnel road, and the repairs and businesses reopen. I'll be driving on this tomorrow. It's been since Sept 26th when I drove to aldi to get last min food after work before Helene hit, the road was already flooding.
