Soft ass league.
The butterfly effect is the idea that something seemingly insignificant can end up creating significant changes.
A few recent NFL free agent signings may have that very effect on the upcoming draft.

Former #Ravens safety Marcus Williams is also meeting with Carolina today.
Per Ian Rapaport, the #Panthers are hosting free agent safety Julian Blackmon today for a visit.
The former #Colts safety is one of the better safeties still available.
Done in by a white boy named Pedulla fuck everything
I personally am OK with alienating anyone who doesn't want the trans community to have the same rights as the rest of us
im calling for Mina Kimes to get a raise
I know Shemar Stewart has been mocked to #Panthers at 8 by quite a few people now but I wouldn’t put any stock in it whatsoever
Based on what I’ve heard/read, it definitely sounds like they’re set on Mykel Williams or Jalon Walker - the former being the favorite as of right now
Always love @natetice.bsky.social’s work, and the way he breaks down film/prospects makes it incredibly easy to digest. Definitely recommend this 👇🏻
#Panthers fans, guess what I have for you? That’s right, it’s another mock draft!
In version 3.0, Carolina addresses a number of needs, including edge rusher and safety. Take a look at my latest column on Stadium Rant: www.stadiumrant.com/carolina-pan...
And I could be completely wrong on Graham. They way they structured contracts for Wharton and Brown give them an easy out after 2 years, so who knows
I’m not 100% sold that they go Graham if he falls simply due to their moves in free agency. Morgan and co stated they wanted to approach FA so that they could take a BPA approach to the draft. Now that being said I wouldn’t be opposed to Graham at 8, but just don’t see it happening. Love Warren too
I hope he isn’t and this is all just smoke and mirrors
If they’re really dead set on going edge early, then a trade back + Jalon Walker makes far more sense
The Texans marching into 2025 with a significantly worse o-line is certainly a choice

I cannot think of a single workout that means less to success at the next level
“(Insert player here) runs (insert 40 time here) at pro day” ENOUGH WHO CARES
From what I’ve heard it definitely seems like they favor Williams
I don’t like it. Taking him at 8 is a huge reach. Doesn’t seem to fit Evero’s scheme (projects more as a 4-3 traditional DE). Good at setting the edge in the run game but one of the worst pass rush win rates in this draft class.
(This is not an endorsement of Williams as a candidate, I’m not very high on him!)
Agreed 💯
Is it too much of a hot take to say Mukuba > Emmanwori 👀
#Panthers fans may want to get used to the name Mykel Williams
Even if they don’t take him at 8, expect him to be mocked to them in almost every conceivable mock draft you read from now until April 24
Starks
Emmanwori
Mukuba
Winston
Watts
Castro
Bowman
If Carolina doesn’t come away from the draft with at least one of these safeties then that position is going to get torn apart in 2025.
Everyone is overthinking this draft class. Happens every year, especially at WR, and this year is no exception
Tet is WR1. End of story
You refuse to truly address defense one year, then the very next you refuse to truly address offense
This is team building malpractice imo
If Bryce Young goes into next season with Thielen, XL, and Coker as his top three receivers then that SCREAMS trouble for the offense
- Haven’t been in on any of these wide receivers available for trade
- Have not signed a single receiver in free agency
- Have not been meeting with top receivers coming into the draft
What exactly are we doing here?
It almost feels like there’s an outright refusal by Carolina to improve the receiver room
Panthers couldn’t do 26M? Really?
