Only jokes I thought didn't land for me were the snowman stuff, the crane thing, how did she pass, the tivo stuff, the naked butt, (and I thought an oj joke could have been done in a much better more subtle way) some of those people loved and I disliked, which is ok, but the rest are golden
Personally loved it more than the originals ngl, it does thread on a thin line of being too stupid somewhat like modern spongebob (and they both balance it correctly imo) but if spoof movies do a "big return" after this I hope they aren't afraid to go a less goofy/random but still super funny

when I mean I haven't played extrnsively I mean I played the story, the testfire and a couple matches with a friend rather than owning the game and not playing it
oh yea I've heard that, even my friend who loves shooters (unlike me) says it is too hard for him; its the only splatoon I haven't played extensively but as someone who likes to play competitive multiplayer it would seem to be my taste
I love splat 1 but I do love how deep/serious the story goes in the next games; a bit of a stark contrast for sure tho
