I work in palliative care. I see death every day I work. It maddens me to no end that the deaths of some, admirable or despicable, are elevated above others. All losses are profound. That is my starting point. I grieve for them.

It is a medical examiner’s case. The police should have no role unless dictated by the examiner. The medical examiners have the right and the authority to review any death. This story doesn’t make sense.
