Papa Newt and I mainly play in settings of our own creation. One world was originally made 15 years ago and the other back in the early or mid 90s when Papa Newt guessed at the rules of DND and used books from M:tG as a base x3

Actually, it would be really easy to use Diversified for this o.o Just have the tools and gadgets use the Point Pool. Could use that for baddie powers, too.

And since Batman makes mistakes and has to learn from them like any good detective, the Experience system for it would work great, as well!

I've been working on a journaling game inspired by Stardew Valley and Enchanted Blend. I'm just debating if I want to keep it as strictly a journaling game or gamify it more.

I might have some big news (to me and LNG) to announce once we get some confirmations. I'm trying not to jinx but it's something I'm really excited about and I'm keeping my fingers crossed over and will announce if we get the okay!

I have a bit of homework to do in the meantime so wish me luck!

I'll only add is how many revolutionary ideas have come from designers re-examining tired-and-true mechanics. If someone with capable hands really took the time to go over the idea instead of quickly dismissing it, some amazing things could come from it.

Having to wait for the next round of playtesting, so I'm picking away at a wip for a journaling game :3

Finished sleeving the newest version of Gorilla Guy, so now both games are ready for playtesting!

We have to take our car in for some work tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed Papa Newt will be in the mood to play!
