Indeed, management opened up with a step back on ongoing negotiations for French-wide structures. They heralded fulfilling legal obligations that should already be there as progress. When union representatives brought up remote work, management dodged the issue, arguing that it was not in their purview. Management has lost all credibility by now, if they really wanted to prove that they want to change their ways, they had the perfect occasion here by cancelling their forcing through those changes. That was a miss from them. More worrying still, the agenda management presented for negotiations is very short, seeing how many topics there are. Being light-years away from the much touted "founding act", management took no step towards a healthier social climate, and instead showed that they are still willing to force their decisions through, as well as their disdain for the efforts and the engagement of employee representatives.
