You need to report this to Police. I know it sucks, takes time and drags out a frustrating experience, but that is where the statistics are recorded which actually result in action being taken. As a crash that resulted in injury (even minor), you're legally required to report it.

And for millenia, that was fine. Alongside the development of cities, we developed flood controls, irrigation, and construction methods that minimised the risk of natural disasters.
