I am overall. There are a few things I don’t like, for example it struggles on sideways sloping pavements and I’ve skidded a few times there. Also the tires are hard plastic and not the grippiest.

I contacted the charity called Access Your Life to ask about recs. After some discussion, they recommended Celtic Therapies & Rehab who bring chairs to your home to try out.
Mine is a Quickie Q50 and it’s 16kg. It does fit in a car boot. Xx

Yesterday was my first day back at uni after 4yrs off sick.
I felt good after, but still took the evening off to rest up.
Everyone in class was lovely and the lecturers all gave me a hug, welcoming me back.
Partner sent me to bed early and made dinner. No PEM so far 🙌

Brain stuff was my worst set of symptoms. LDN really improved a lot of them for me. I’m very lucky, I know it doesn’t work for everyone. And tbh when I was severe I didn’t tolerate it at all. I’m not sure what changed. I feel like so much of this is down to luck and it’s so unfair.

The team was already stretched and now I fear the service won’t be in a fit state to properly support disabled students.
This is just one example of how the rise of right-wing xenophobia in the UK is harmful. 3/4

It’s unclear what the new disability team will look like. But so far, only one staff member is remaining and no 2/4
