I like the purple sash! I might steal that idea. The power sword is cool too, with the crackling energy

Had a blood test this morning wearing my @freshpunks.bsky.social t-shirt, and the phlebotomist recommended a local punk band to me π± Punk connections! (Turns out it's her son's band CMATBE who are also Sintellins locals!) #upthepunx
A grey plastic Tyranid model - Winged Prime - with wings removed and two new arms added - a clawed one and one holding a whip - stood before a black background
A grey plastic Tyranid model - Winged Prime - with wings removed and two new arms added - a clawed one and one holding a whip - stood before a black background, but this time from the side
I wanted a Tyranid Prime with a lash whip, so this afternoon I've made a Tyranid Prime with a lash whip. She's a Winged Prime with Ravenor's claw and Warrior's whip #nerdlings #tyranids #40k
βI donβt even know how to attack it, thereβs so much to it. It's a delicious productβ

Ballistus dreadnought from Warhammer 40k, minus transfers
I did a fiery old school power sword!
Wargames Atlantic zombie heads on Victrix Dark Age and Warlord Romans
Shoretrooper-type bad guys
Saw some people posting what they've painted in Feb, so thought I'd jump on the bandwagon! I did a Terminator Captain, Terminator Squad and a Ballistus for my Fists of Ultramar. I also did some ancient Briton ghosts, and a little bad guy squad for 5 Parsecs from Home (I've never played) #nerdlings
An Atlas, a miniature from the game Battletech, painted to have a skull face, confronts another mech in a tiny MDF city
A blue-and-white Hatchetman, a miniature from the game Battletech, attacks red mech
My Atlas in action, and a Hatchetman doing some choppin'
Brilliant explanation, thanks. That was the vibe I was getting from the bits that have been announced so far
Is Shivershield more skirmish-focused than The Woods 2nd ed? I love the look of the box set / new rukebook
Space Marine captain (like 32mm tall) with a big ole hammer
Painted up a Captain in Terminator Armour for my homebrew chapter, the Fists of Ultramar. I'm also trying a new camera app so if this looks bad, blame the app. If it looks good, it's all me, babyyyy #nerdlings #warhammer #40k
Counselor: These feelings of "everything sucks," how long have you had them? Butt-head: Uhh, since everything started to suck, I guess.
Here it is, your moment of zen.
Yeah, just havinβ a coupla beers at the beach π
(But itβs the beer from Pinocchio that turns you into a donkey and itβs the beach that makes you old)
Yeah true! But I already had Xenos Rampant and some painted up mechs, so it made sense at the time to at least try it out
I love that he claps his fist first... ππ»ππ»
No wayyyy! That's science. Thanks!
Ooh what does that do?
I've always loved the Hatchetman for that reason... A 30+ foot tall robot with an axe!
Yeah, I like the giant hammer idea. Might as well go all in with a piston-powered headbutt mech
A Bushwacker mech lurks behind some trees (6mm scale model, painted blue and white, model trees made from screws and clump foliage)
A Hatchetman attacks a Rifleman beside a military base (6mm scale models, one painted blue and white, one black with flames, model building made from packaging)
An Atlas mech ambushes a Cataphract in some ruins (6mm scale models, painted black with a skull face and flames on the legs, and one blue and white, model ruined skyscrapers made from MDF)
Through the ruins we see a Locust Mech trying to avoid a Cataphract (6mm scale models, the nearest one is out of focus and painted red. In the distance is a blue and white model. Model building ruins made from MDF)
I played some not-Battletech tonight, using Xenos Rampant rules. I'm not sure I'd do it again... I found the shooting too generic for mechs, and the one action per turn a bit restrictive.
I'll maybe try FFOL: Battlesuit Alpha

Excellent colour scheme on that Carnifex!
A play on words and batman is passed out drunk
Absolut Batman by Tom Neely.

Oh wow! Now you mention it I can see it in there. Top work!
Unreal! Is the matrix-looking thing a kitbash or GW stuff, or does it use 3d printed bits too?
5 creepy kitbashed miniatures stood in front of some ruins.
I had a great time finding models to represent the enemies in the scenarios (including a Corpse Collector based on the cover image from Etsy!) I also had a great time kitbashing my warband, a great time playing through the scenarios. This is my latest warband
Excellent, thanks. I'd never heard of Bigger Battles but I'll seek it out
This looks great! Where are the cricketers from? (And what rules do you use please? I've been toying with the idea of playing VBCW using Xenos Rampant but I've not fully decided)
Desert bases would look good with the blue, as yellow is a complementary colour (slightly more orange the lighter blue you go)
I thought there'd be like 4 steps to painting that face. It looks great, and with just a base and a wash... Unreal!
A Warhammer photo. A bat-like black alien hovers behinds a black-armoured Space Marine on a Martin surface beside some (model) concrete ruins, as smaller aliens swarm around his feet
An Infernus Marine fell foul of the Parasite of Mortrex in last night's game of 40k
The Black Templars did otherwise kick my Tyranid ass, but it was cool spawning 3(!!) swarms of Rippers

It's like they heard of Palantir and told an intern to come up with 10 similar names, then picked this from the list
