There's a great labeler on BlueSky which you can use to see peoples pronouns on their profile and to display your own:
bsky.app/profile/pron...
To see pronouns from others click on the "Subscribe" button in the top right.
To display your own switch to "Posts" and like the pronouns you use.

I don't think anyone is angry, but I completely agree with Tobias here... It was a chat about hair style with a 7yo. Ask yourself why you were asking to specify if she was asking about sex or gender.

But asking about sex is asking about genitals. Why would a 7yo ask about the genitals of a person they see on a picture? I'm pretty sure the kid did in fact ask about the gender.
