I feel quite comfortable and confident in stating, without qualification, that no one unironically who uses the word "meritocracy" has merit of any kind worth considering.

I have much respect for Trent Reznor as a musician, but it's hard to respect a lyricist who writes "we have chose" (as opposed to "that we chose" or "have chosen") as part of a song intended for public consumption.

Possibly hot take:

Any self-professed fan of NIN who uses capitals to refer to the band in any context other than the NIN abbreviation (e.g. Nine Inch Nails rather than nine inch nails) should be regarded with deep, DEEP suspicion. And possibly reported to the authorities.

As good as some modern 2D animation is, it never strikes me as jaw-droppingly impression as when animation of similar quality is achieved when the medium was purely analog and allowed for zero shortcuts. Just like practical effects in live-action.

Yes, I bought the complete edition after the new DLC was released. The animation isn't always jank-free (especially climbing), but it is MUCH more fun in third-person. Give it another go. Once you get out of the opening area, go straight along the campaign to get your Ikran. Then it's all magic.

If you have ever made the grievous error of thinking I am cool, I guarantee you that hearing me talk to this cat would dispel that illusion with greatest expediency.
