There is some evidence that engagement is the key - you concentrate on the program rather than "trying" to get to sleep ( counterproductive) and therefore fall asleep ( annoyingly i then have yo go back and listen the next day) The advantage of my sleep band is that no-one else hears it!

Happy Christmas! I also am an insomniac but now have a sleep headband with speakers through which i play Radio4 / world service all night - this actually helps me go off to sleep as it stops my stressing about not sleeping. Mine us a Musicozy front amazon and cost c £12

#Christmas can be a difficult time for people with #hoarding and their loved ones . Additional items coming into the living space is problematic. Hoarding is a serious mental health problem which can result in death by fire, trips, falls, neglect, #suicide . Smash the #stigma

As we start the #Christmas week - wishing all my friends who celebrate a wonderful and peaceful time!

Home now! I love #Lanzarote ( and many other places) but really miss a good decent cup of #tea! Nothing can beat it - no even when you buy black tea abroad and do it yourself , it never tastes like a good old British cuppa ( I've tried in USA and around the world)

I have been in beautiful @lanzarote since early November completing my new book on #CBT - to be published early 2027. Excited to complete it Meanwhile my previous books on #ocd and on #hoarding are available ( hoarding reduced price)
