Charity & I finished the first season of Black Sails. Show starts off fun, but a lil cheesy. By the end we were hooked, it got really intense as the stakes grew.
Pirate Nick Cave is the fucking coolest.

Justice League Dark 10, by Lemire & Janin. Yesss! This ish builds off the last one. John's base for the team is the House of Mystery. The way he can get the team to help him is so well done.

My wife and I have stalled a lil on the Battle For The Abyss audiobook. We didn't expect much from Descent of Angels, but we became Zahariel fans.
No one around John can die in a superhero book, but they can, pay a price. That works. Making him the leader actually works. Jeff plays into his devious side. For the first time I'm excited for more.
Justice League Dark 9. By Jeff Lemire & Mikel Janin. This should have been issue 1. Holy fuck this was great. Steve Trevor does a deal with John. Get a team together & save a missing ARGUS agent. John gets the team together & Jeff makes John work really well in the DCU.
I, Vampire 8, by Fialkov & Sorrentino. Lots of splash pages, Andrew "kills" Cain and leaves with the Vampires. John tells Andrew to watch himself.
