Hope this sends a message to the entertainment industry that sometimes all you need is a talented cast and a good story. I say this as big fan of Stranger Things, but more spectacle doesn’t always equal more fanfare and YES you can bank on queer stories to hook an audience!
It’s kinda cool that a little gay show from Canada with no budget came swinging out the gate and has been dominating public discourse and the zeitgeist in the midst of Stranger Things’ biggest and most expensive final season. LONG LIVE THE ERA OF HEATED RIVALRY!
Made the mistake of smoking before I restarted my Heated Rivalry rewatch and now I can’t stop speaking to my dog in a Russian accent.

I don’t think I’ve seen ANY movie theater this crowded since maybe H*rry P*tter and the Deathly H*llows Pt II? Every single concessions register is open and has lines basically out the door?!? It was ingenious of them to release the finale in theaters.
Fully prepared to die and cry my eyes out. I can’t believe nearly 10yrs of STRANGER THINGS ends tonight. 😩
The energy in the theater is insane and say what you will about Netflix… in 5yrs of attending my local theater, I haven’t seen it even 1/4th as crowded as it is now.

Got to attend a Very Delta live show and it was a BLAST. Delta Work remains one of the funniest queens to come out of Drag Race and I’m happy that her career continues to flourish. If you have the chance to get tickets to her show on this tour: RUN! You won’t regret it. Laughed til it hurt.
