you cannot trust anything that is on archive today, archive is, archive ph, etc.
there is no accountability for it (anon owner), they host doxxing data and refuse to take it down, they alter things (defeating their one reason to exist), and they massively copyright infringe news sites etc.

I don't know who needs to hear this but if you are not venezuelan, it is very unlikely you are knowledgeable enough about a situation that has been unfolding for 25 years to have an informed opinion, and "it is about the oil" just makes it evident.

What the absolute shit is this? ACM using AI summaries instead of abstracts in search results?! So, if I understand correctly, instead of the author's own summary of the work (i.e. an abstract) we are better off with some regurgitated slop version of that summary instead? @chi.acm.org

The share of workers earning the minimum wage differs sharply across Europe. The European Commission is calling for fair and adequate pay to guarantee a decent standard of living.
More than *anything* the people who actually know how technology works, who actually build things, wish that people would treat LLMs like every other technology, and be normal about them. Don't build a religion about them, don't force them on people, don't ignore the problems. Just be normal.

They are tools for thinking if after the prototype you sit and write down what you learned in the form of specifications. But most of the time people use them as a first iteration of the product, and having something tangible gives them the false impression they have the product figured out.

In a recent experiment with AI coding, the agent generated a lot of tests and achieved an impressive 80% coverage. The catch? Most tests "validated" the implementation, not the specification of the behavior. For instance, is this variable set with the input value? Pretty useless in many cases.
