So, what can we do about it?
Our new Store Tags Assessment service will ensure your game storefront accessibility information is accurate and relevant. See the full list of tags we recommend applying to your game's store pages, all backed up with clear reasoning behind them.

Inconsistent Store Tags Games show up under varied tags across some stores, but are not always accurate, causing uncertainty from the players' POV. Many games are also missing store tags altogether, even though they contain great accessibility features.
Sceptical Buyers Potential players can lose trust in companies and their accessibility claims if inaccuracies are found on their store front.
A Missed Opportunity Teams who have gone through the effort of designing with accessibility in mind are losing out on showcasing these efforts accurately to the audiences they are aiming to include, affecting discoverability.
Accessibility Store Tags Assessment Service
Lately, we've seen lots of new initiatives introduced around accessibility store tags and guidelines. Whilst this is great news for showcasing accessibility efforts, it has caused some confusion for our industry and players...
Our Accessibility Store Tags Assessment service takes the guess work out of relevant and consistent store tags, and can even help enhance your games' discoverability!

For #GAAD we asked: "What is the first option or setting you look for when launching a game for the first time?" Here's what you told us...
"Subtitles! A game-changer for a non-native speaker" "Language - I grew up speaking American Spanish, but plenty of games are unable to tell the difference between European Spanish and American Spanish" "Auto-pick up items so I don't miss them by accident"
"Slowing down QTEs and other time-sensitive actions. This way I can play more games in my limited free time "Time options, like game speed, or adjustable parry windows" "Window resizing for PC! I can't play games on fullscreen, so resizing my window to make it easier to see the screen is my go-to"
