Oh, I agree wholeheartedly that he's being guided by his handlers, but he's very aware of what he's doing and the effects of his actions. As long as he gets paid, there is no low to which he won't sink. They might formulate the plans, but he knows what he's doing. He isn't blind.
Where I live, I'm pretty sure we would be vaporized immediately. We are within a few miles of several Boeing plants and the Microsoft campus in Bellevue, Washington. Also, on the other side of us is the Joint Base Lewis/McCord. If we do get a nuke attack, I will probably never know it.

We have caught this act over and over again. The President's poll numbers drop, so the President starts a war. Consequently, President gets the bump in the polls. The people fall for this nonsense every time.
That's right, keep thinking he's a dimwit who doesn't know what he's doing. That's exactly what he wants you to think. Nobody could do the kind of damage to our country as he has done by accident. Rest assured, every bad move he makes is deliberate, and calculated to bring the USA down for Putin.
No "war" supplemental funding for something that is not a "war". You want supplemental funding? Ask for a declaration of war or an AUMF. That's how the Founding Fathers envisioned it, Whiskey Pete and General Bone Spurs.
No Congressional authorization of the conflict? No supplemental funding.
This would all be avoided by vote-by-mail. We have had it in Washington and Oregon for decades, with absolutely zero problems. The rest of the country should get on board with it.

This only comes as a surprise to the MAGA faithful and others who ignore the news. The rest of us saw this coming two years ago, and tried to warn people to keep him from ever again regaining any power.

Well, if that's true, they had better wake up to reality.
Just disarm them. Previous administrations have deported far more undocumented aliens in the same amount of time as this regime, without all the violence. If the situations require more forceful solutions, the local police can be called in. ICE has no reason to be staffed with masked, armed thugs.
It can't happen soon enough, imo.
A complete boycott by all Democrats is in order. As an added bonus, Democratic leadership should present their own version of the state of the union, one that tells the truth about our broken economy, and this regime's crimes against our democratic republic and the rule of law.
Trump did not cave. He vowed to impose tariffs of 10-15% under a different law. So, even though his own, carefully chosen for their fealty, Supreme Court cronies chose to follow the law, he decided "screw you guys, I'm not done inflicting pain on Americans to please Putin" and will tax us anyway.
I've been on a cruise to Hawaii for the past two weeks, so I can't complain.
