an easy win with Yoshi, but this is the real deal isn’t it?
the 80s sound is and forever will be the bridge between the “then” and “now” of pop and rock music.
Its most popular revival in modern age, RetroWave/Synthwave, may not be what it used to, but a good retro sounding tune still moves me like ten years ago.
And I’ll still make retro electronic music
reading the @blaisejess.bsky.social book about the history of Synthwave makes me feel… guess how? 😊 Nostalgic! The sense of community, the blogs, the playlists, the frustration for “not being there” sometimes, but overall, one of my best experiences on the Internet, thanks to all the people I met
