Even if the artist is satisfied with the apology, we shouldn’t just let Bungie get away with it. IIRC, that also the time when the mobile Pokemon TCG people stole art too. We can’t let that be something they can just make amends AND keep using the art. All about fucking over artists as usual.

Hot take, but maybe we shouldn't praise Bungie for doing this purely because they got caught out. We all know if it hadn't caused a fuss they'd have gladly stolen Antireal's work without a care. This is damage control, and they should have done this from the start. Bungie can still eat shit IMHO.

I know nobody ever sees these kinds of posts but remember that paying someone after stealing their art doesn't actually excuse the act of art theft and is a very good reason why nobody should buy that new Marathon game please use your heart as well as your eyes.
