For this to be true, they would need to exclusively work on projects worth between $5.7 million and $289.1 million in Melbourne's inner suburbs for a $5-per-hour increase. Each entry-level traffic controller would also need to be offered at least 90 minutes of overtime every single shift to qualify for a meal allowance six days per week. Throughout the year, they would each clock up 1,920 hours of ordinary shifts and 768 hours of double-time penalty rates, averaging 2 hours and 40 minutes every day.

Don’t get me wrong- I think he’s doing something great and necessary. It’s just a really stark example of where in the US, private organizations play the role that public ones do here and elsewhere.

Yeah, the story here isn’t that a state court proceeding is being allowed to continue normally, it’s that there are four Supreme Court justices prepared to shamelessly rubber stamp any demand Trump makes.

It’s such a telling difference between Australia and the US that they rely on private non-profits to fund this, while our version (at least in NSW) which I believe has been around a lot longer, is government developed and operated.
