I appreciate you, brother ❤️
I appreciate you, brother ❤️
We dropped a single today!
It’s another track that fits into our upcoming concept album, but lyrically, much of it stands on its own as an ode to human connection amid our digital world.
Also, we got to put a breakdown in it.
Out on all platforms 🖤

So proud of the work we put into this alongside our best friends❤️
FFO: Proggish riffage, semi-alt rockiness, and the power of friendship

So I know this isn’t a particularly productive statement. But.
Fuck AI, dude.
Remember the Sunwell!
Things suck bad. But don’t let them take your joy. Do what you can, and keep making art!
Never has Fahrenheit 451 been more relevant
My album comes out on all streaming sites this Monday. Why Monday? I dunno. Apparently trans people are being erased from government websites so maybe go to pathtoelda.bandcamp.com to listen to my record now and give me money in case I need to go find asylum somewhere. #music 🎵 #new #psychedelic
See you at 7 at No Fun Bar tomorrow, Portland ☀️
This is the first song we’ve released where it’s basically like, “THIS IS A CONCEPT ALBUM!”
We were inspired by bands with sick lore like Mastodon, Coheed, BTBAM, The Dear Hunter, etc.
Very (hopefully not too) different from the album 1 alt rock sound!

It's ok to use chatbots for everyday monotony like writing your wedding vows because this frees you up to use your creative energy for what truly matters: making powerpoints for work meetings
Oh thank god
I mean look at the dang thing!
In a weird way, I’m thankful for AI art. Not for the theft, or the disrespect to creatives. But for some (me included) it took seeing art without a soul to truly appreciate the heart that exists in people’s work and the importance of the process.
I’m thankful for our human artist, Bruce Furlong.
This one is always a crowd favorite!
We definitely leaned more into our pop influences with this one. Not to say it’s completely devoid of our typical noodlyness.

Fair! But it’s interesting. They don’t have the playlisting or overall discovery factor built-in the same way Spotify or even Apple Music does. I’m mostly curious what works specifically on Bandcamp vs other platforms. I really like Bandcamp’s mission and pay structure! Just wanna learn it better
I believe it! And in two decades we’ll still be goin at it too. Making music is just too much fun haha
Bands who do well on bandcamp, what’s your secret?
While this song is part of a concept album, its name has nothing to do with it.
It is named after everyone’s favorite barbecue sauce.
We got to experiment a lot with this one! The biggest experiment: coming up with the most pretentious way to hide the name of a barbecue sauce in the song title.
I’ve seen a lot lately about the screenwriters outdoing themselves again. But honestly, if you were crafting a fictional treatment of the demise of American democracy, you would have tried to make the characters a lot more plausible.
This is the one song where someone might be able to tell that we both like Meshuggah a lot.

This song is for the Brando Sando fans 🖤
(The lyrics have nothing to do with Stormlight Archive)

Being in a band and nearing 30 is such an interesting experience. Most of your friends have given up music already, and you stay in only because you aren’t attached to the idea of being rich or famous.
Being in a band is pretty sick
Two years ago, we came out with our first album. We were definitely going for more of an alt rock vibe back then. Still love playing these live! #originalmusictracks

This one was a fun one! Writing a concept album has been a bit of a stretch of our creative comfort zone, but it’s been really rewarding. What reward you ask? Showing the world that we’re just two big nerds in a trench coat.
These songs have been great novel fuel 👀

Tonight is a big night for me. I just released my new album Dream Factory. It's a psychedelic 30 minute exploration of multiple genres I love. If you like #shoegaze, #triphop, #dreampop, #artrock and #ambient, you'll probably like this. I did it all myself!

Thanks brother 🙏🏼🙏🏼
We would love to be included :)
