The power of HUNDREDS of Missouriansβ voices is overflowing the State Capitol today.
And together, weβre demanding that MO lawmakers respect the will of the people!

This is my governor. He is a disgrace.
βAs a low-wage worker, I wholeheartedly reject the lie that deporting my neighbor is how I win better pay and working conditionsβ¦ Unaccountable masked agents have no place in our communities!β

Beautiful weather for a bike ride. Wish there were more racks to lock to I downtown Gladstone
Because of Missouri @momsdemand.bsky.social leaders like Thesa Dillard, we were able to push back against DOZENS of gun-lobby backed bills that would've made Missouri less safe.
Hear more about how Missouri and other states are changing the culture around guns in their state.
When Medicaid is cut, who loses? Missouri's GOP reps in Congress are backing an $880 billion gutting of Medicaid to give billionaires even more tax breaks. Is this right?

Missouri lawmakers are currently pushing or reviewing 39 anti-LGBTQ+ bills this session. Many of the bills target transgender Missouriansβthey aim to ban gender-affirming care, target drag shows and performers, and restrict participation on sports teams that align with athletesβ gender identities.
Missouri Democrats stonewalled a Republican effort to roll back a voter-approved paid sick leave law, blocking action in the Senate for more than nine hours before GOP leadership adjourned the chamber around 1 a.m. Thursday. #moleg #mogov via @clarabates.bsky.social
Banning trans athletes was never about sports β they want to erase us.
Trans people are valid NO MATTER WHAT. π£οΈ

Photo of a sidewalk chalk drawing that says, "LIBRARIES BUILD COMMUNITY." There is a heart on each side of the word build. The word libraries is done in shades of blues and purples. Build is done in yellows and oranges. Community is in shades of green.
Strong libraries help build strong communities--that's why certain people in our area have been lowering the funding for our libraries even when it goes against what voters voted for. They know how powerful libraries and librarians can be for our communities.

Omg, these are such bad bills
Photo of a sidewalk chalk drawing that says EVERYONE BELONGS. The word EVERYONE is done in various skin tone colors and BELONGS is in all of the rainbowy colors.
Oh, how I've needed some color therapy! I also needed some sun therapy, so we made the drawing in the back to stay in the sun. I'll be keeping drawings simple while I recover from a slight case of pneumonia, but I wanted to make something on this beautiful day.

When Missouri lawmakers seek to ban drag with bills like SB 295, they do not cite STL or KC's Pridefests, but Rolla, Columbia, and Warrensburg's events. This thread will illustrate that lawmaker's objections to drag is rooted in proximity and content. #moleg 1/x
I don't even know what city they're talking about but I agree with this so much for Gladstone MO #GladstoneNeedsBetterSidewalks
If you're a constituent of Josh Hawley, please call his offices and tell him to keep pushing to protect Medicare/Medicaid funding. Yes, he's an absolute nightmare, but we have to take wins where we can get them.
I just got through to his KC office: 816-960-4694

Conversion Therapy should be banned in every city.
Listening to my state senator Patty Lewis & the senate democrats filibustering anti-trans legislation makes me proud and shows the two parties are not the same! #moleg
Jefferson City, MO
My name is Jenny and itβs been 33 days since my last trip to Target. I spent a week researching places that sell shampoo, before I bought some yesterday at the grocery store
Snow covered asphalt path with lots of footprints, and a few paw prints. The path is lined with snow covered grass, and a few trees. The path curves toward a bench in the distance.
Several asphalt parking spaces are completely cleared of snow. They lead to a walking path that hasnβt been cleared yet. Footprints in the walking path show it receives lots of use. A sign for Oak Grove Park, a little free library, and some playground equipment are in the distance.
Oak Grove Park walking path in Gladstone MO has seen plenty of foot traffic even though it hasnβt been plowed since the last snowstorm. Not sure why they spent so much time clearing parking lot for cars and so little clearing the walking path for people #GladstoneNeedsBetterSidewalks
The Stonewall Riots happened because trans people, particularly of color, rose up against state violence. You canβt even begin to tell the story without our trans ancestors and elders. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/13/n...
BREAKING: A federal court temporarily blocked President Trumpβs executive order aiming to restrict access to gender-affirming medical care for transgender people under age 19 nationwide.
This is a major victory for our freedom to access life-saving care.
Iβm thankful for the businesses that DONβT block the sidewalk when theyβre clearing the parking lots. I wish there were more of them in Gladstone MO #GladstoneNeedsBetterSidewalks
