Well, you're partly right, a lot of "asset flip" games are scams, but at least many of them pay for the assets.

When even having a successful game can't keep you employed, you know this industry is run by parasites who are never satisfied.

@verasdiary.bsky.social runs people's work through AI to make shitty videos so you might wanna block and report them.
These companies care about children as much as they care about copyright.
It is known that Google paid children a few dollars for the right to their biometric data for life, or that ALL AI companies used child pornography to "train" their generative AI
The work they are doing to normalize and universalize gAI use in schools and universities, to discredit any criticism, all to ensure they have a captive and uncritical customer base utterly dependent on them for generations
At least the asset flip makes money for 3D modelers and artists, on the other hand the AI...
It's interesting to me how gamers can be united on detesting asset flips, but be divided on AI gameslop when it's just asset flipping on steroids. Pick a lane.
I agree completely with @bruceboyden.bsky.social here. The response of law to technology shouldnโt necessarily be technological. The object of law/legal interpretation should be to find the through line that connects disparate technological developments to a single moral standard & duty of care.

Worse, remember that AI can only exist with the theft of creative work and data on a massive scale. So there isn't even a " wage"
"I'm not going to listen to you about giving yourself rights to something you didn't create" level of GOAT

The important thing is that I don't use AI for something that is self-expression.
A call for artists poster that depicts a side profile view of Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, recreating the iconic zombie head turn from Resident Evil 1. There is a look of fear and terror on his face as he clinches his teeth together. The text reads: "CALL FOR ARTISTS" "4 / / ITCHY. TASTY." "A Biohazard/Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Fan Zine"
The second part of the call for artists poster, which offers a description about the project with the title at the top and blood splattered faintly around the post. The text reads: "4 / / ITCHY. TASTY." "Calling all Biohazard/Resident Evil fans and artists! 2026 is Resident Evil's 30th anniversary! There's a lot of hype surrounding this anniversary, but I've yet to see any kind of collab or fan zine for Resident Evil in particular to celebrate this anniversary. So, I want to introduce '4 / / Itchy. Tasty.' A fan zine dedicated to the series' 30th anniversary where all the fans can come together and show their appreciation for the series. All fans of the series are welcome to participate, artists, graphic designers, and cosplayers! (No generative AI will be accepted in this collaboration) While the anniversary is this March, the deadline for the project will be October 1, 2026 (although this can be changed if necessary). This invitation will be open until January 31, 2026 to gauge interest in the project. Please comment on this post if you are interested in joining and be sure to keep your DMs open by the end of the month for me to send invitations!" (P.S. writers are also more than welcome to join the collaboration as well!)
Calling all Biohazard/Resident Evil artists/creators! I am planning to organize a fan zine to celebrate the series' 30th anniversary this year and I am gauging interest. If you are interested, please check out the description!

โastrology for menโ was too generous
excited to hear tech companies will now be allowed to build their own power plants for their data centers. i am sure the makers of "the app that tells kids to kill themselves" will responsibly operate coal plants
The main reason for selling AI with doomerism is to justify the illegality of its own existence, the classic "if we don't build the machine that will destroy humanity, China will" is a clichรฉ that remains rooted in the field of AI since its creation in the Cold War.
Do you think AI users and AI developers respect consent?
Do you think I should update this template?
It might be better to revise โDo not use my art for AI trainingโ to โDo not use my art for any AI purposesโ? X allows users to edit anyone's images with Grok without the creatorโs permission now, so we have to prohibit them from i2i either clearly. ๐งต
I'm surprised the render took less time than the sketch, it's usually the other way around...
"Thanks" to AI? Teachers are having to change how they teach and evaluate because AI is being used by students to cheat themselves out of learning skills.
Scientific research shows that AI usage harms learning.
The idea of _not_ using AI is inconceivable to people like Ethan Mollick.
Or if you sell AI-powered porn to bot accounts or horny blind old men, for example

Well, this tweet is interesting because it confirms something many of us already knew: that nobody actually wants AI, and that AI astroturfing is a reality.
