This week we explored creating sound paintings with water whilst listening to water themed music using ‘magic paper’ 🖌️

It was lovely to see people of all ages being creative and having fun mark-making to music 🎨

One of our favourite objects used in the workshops is the Chladni plate. This slowed-down video shows some areas vibrate (anti-nodes) while some areas remain still (nodes). This results in the sand either jumping off the plate or staying still to create patterns in the standing waves 🔊 #cymatics
