there is such a workaround for window sharing, Wayland has a window that can pop up that asks you which other windows /screens you'd like to give a program access too, so I dont know why it cant be the same for this too.

tbf, I think the Wayland devs see it as part of the purpose of the platform, it's supposed to be a security feature (like how windows cannot peek into what other windows look like), but there really should be some kind of workaround for it for when you, the end user, *want* that.

While he much prefers a stealthier approach to stealing things, sometimes you need to think bigger ✨
