I world-build, chasing a plot vibe, until my characters step out of their circumstances to introduce themselves.

Being surprised by the actions of my characters is one of my favorite things about writing.

I see I'm not the only one...

We deserve better.
We WILL make things right. Together.

This is beyond politics. This is moral. This is archetypal. This is what stories warn us about. This is what history warns us about.

Imagine if ICE's budget was put toward opening offices to expedite citizenship. Imagine if our housing, schools, medical systems were funded... we would ALL thrive.

This past weekend I read 2 books. First was The Starlit Road by A. R. Ivanovich a wonderful new YA fantasy. The second was Frost Maiden: The Origin of the Snow Queen by J.P. Reedman a short novella that was an easy enjoyable read. I would recommend both to my fellow fantasy lovers. #booksky
