Just finished up a blog post about how I prepared for, and continue prepping for my Shadowdark/ Caverns of Thracia campaign. If you're like me and prefer improvisation and light work to Blorb and legwork, give it a read. Hell, give it a read anyway!

After several mishaps, they arrived at our warehouse! Shipping will start next week (a couple of weeks later for our US backers). This is the first time we've had a delay with our Kickstarter projects, and sorry about that!
Fun look at how a fellow gm runs one of my favorites. I agree with a lot of the ratings/assessments. Replacing the turnstile with metal detectors sounds like a super fun change β€οΈ
"Youβre going to hear people say that they won, and we lost because we said this wasn't a 5.5e, but your voices calling it that forced us to admit it's actually 5.5e. Those people will only be half right. They wonβand so did we."

If you ask someone how Into the Odd has streamlined their games, they will probably mention removing the "to hit" roll and just rolling damage.
I blasphemously ask the question: can we re-incorporate accuracy and missed attacks with Into the Odd without turning it into a major slog?

Great post from a great blogger.
If I could add one thing, it would be to *read* more blogs as well. I have been in a bit of a reading slump for a while, and getting out of it, it is amazing how much it inspires me to write. If nothing else, because I see something I disagree with and must respond
Great breakdown of contents and composition. Bookmarking this post for future reference. I need to get off my butt and write-up what I loved about the rest of this triptych by @bradkerr.net and @skullfungus.bsky.social
The small ones among us are may be overlooked, but they surely have grand tales to tell! Let's explore these tiny epics in the #ttrpg Blog Carnival. Smol mouse & a needle sword? A Shadow of the Colossus boss fight? Share your creations early! Final roundup on March 31

A short and very busy month on the road means this month's Explorateur is light. I mean, it's still a mace to face with design links, but it's not the usual two-hander.
I'm doing this new thing with the intro where I share three design/creative/craft ideas.

We only need about a dozen more or so more backers in the next three hours to reach the Cloud Empress Conversion Kit goal, and bring @hodagrpg.bsky.social in on the action!
The accomplishment of "We Read the Bloggies" is incredible. In just a few weeks they produces nearly the same number of episodes as Blogs on Tape has in almost 9 years. Bravo to everyone involved, that's incredible.
Actually, it'd be neat if you displayed that info live and then folks will convince their friends to buy so their favorite color wins.
I expect a stat breakdown of how many reds versus blues were Mr wasteland.
How dare @elmchu.bsky.social be such a helpful and efficient member of the community all the time!
We hit a stretch goal. All physical orders get stickers included free of charge!

In the unlikely (but totally metal π€) event that A Familiar Tower reaches 666 backers @betterlegends.bsky.social shall enlist the aid of his dark patron and summon forth a demon sticker that is so rad your pinky and index finger may never retract again (sorry not sorry). #zinemonth
there's only a handful of folks out there doing puzzle dungeons and directsun's one of the first and best!
WTB a 5 minute loop of the mootsack bumper from Between Two Cairns.
