i'm tentative to recommend assault. It's my favorite star fox, but that's mostly for all the less starfoxy elements, so for someone who's actually big on standard star fox gameplay im not sure how much you'd enjoy what is effectively a furry 3rd person shooter with occasional arwing sections

i recommend playing on rosalie's mupen gui (RMG) instead, project64 is horribly outdated and ive run into countless issues with later n64 games like this and paper mario
