PROJECTAT Monthly health and harm reduction drop-in for Trans+ people ANNOUNCEMENT Due to delays in signing-off procedures, we will be unable to offer blood testing for this month's Project4T (25" Feb). We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience to those hoping to attend and access blood tests. The rest of the service will still be on offer, delivered by PRISM/BDP and partners: Dandelion, Yuno, and Changes Bristol. We know how important and long-awaited blood testing is for Trans+ people in Bristol, and we are sorry for the delay in being able to offer this. The response to Project4T so far has been really exciting, and we're committed to getting this off the ground as soon as we can. We are hoping to be able to deliver the full service next month (25" March), so keep an eye on our socials for more information! Stay tuned.

This works too- ibuprofen also worth considering for keeping swelling down

It’s sooooo worth it though, it is a marathon, and it will take a fair few hours, probs about 20-30 hours until you actually start to see any difference while they do the thinning out phase, and your skin will really reep the benefits of the feminising effects of HRT

It’s generally bearable, but I won’t dress up the upper lip, and particularly under nose, thats toe curling, the only plus side is you can wake up the next day sometimes look like you’ve had free lip filler 😂

Though a lot depends on the skill of the person doing it, and the device they are using, as ming as it’s not a Sterex machine it’ll be way less painful, and less swelling.

One tip for my experience, get a tub of aloe gel and keep it in the fridge for afterwards

Been a while, which is probably why it’s hit hard as it was unexpected (should of known better), guard down type of thing, but real life, in my face, transphobic behaviour, isn’t cool.
