It’s an opportunity for the current crop of young dems to step up. So has every minute of this administration, which says to me they are frozen by how bad things have gotten. We need someone brave enough to flip the bird and stand up over and over again.

Meaning: how has everything else not mobilized them? It’s such an indictment at this point. Civilians being fed up and protesting is having more of a galvanizing impact than anything any of these head in the sand people have done in the face of a dictator.

Between the fires and these protests, I hope this year teaches everyone that most of the shit talking you hear about California and more specifically, LA, comes from racists and gentrifying transplants. Most people love living here and would do anything to protect it.
