I felt like it commited the same sin as Alien 3, but managed to make up for it with Schwarzenegger's final line.

My favorite shifts and changes, but Gnomes is pretty great. Simple, rogue-like gameplay with equally simple graphics.

Ophiuchus, maybe? Haven't read it myself, but synopsis-wise, it seems to meet the description of what you're looking for.

Had another session on Sunday and managed to finish all the art, stat blocks, and maps on time for once. Aside from some classics like black puddings and gelatinous cubes, the party faced a shambling mound, lizardfolk, and a really smug assassin from a previous game I DMed.

The party went after a broker of an assassin's guild. Frank runs Thelmy and (Bastard) Sons, but he's the real bastard of the three. His boys Nuisance and Sloppy weren't in on it and nearly died in the encounter.

My dad got evicted, resulting in me not being available for our online D&D group for two weekends in a row, which upset one player so much they stopped talking to me for about a day. It was also my birthday that first weekend.

Aw, don't. The feeling of someone saying "I took your stuff. What are you going to do about it?" is much worse than the FOMO =P

I'm convinced that the thrill of getting away with stealing other people's stuff is a motivating factor in a lot of the cases. That and the sense of entitlement some people get concerning other people's work.
