A FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY is up for today because of icy/snow-covered roads this morning and very cold temperatures.
Temperatures will rise above freezing by 10-11 a.m. and highs will be in the upper 30s...but some refreezing and black ice will be possible again tonight so be safe on the roads!

FIRST ALERT: Strong winds are starting to turn lighter as our cold front moves offshore! Most of us saw gusts over 40 MPH today, but those should drop below 20 MPH prior to midnight. Lake Wind Advisories will continue overnight inland.
