I spent over 8 hours editing the next video Iβm going to post for the LA ICE raids lawsuit story and Iβm fully prepared for it to get 12 likes and maybe a couple hundred views (half from my burner acct)
My latest, in conversation with the legal teams representing hundreds of Latin American families in Los Angeles, who they claim were racially profiled by ICE and the Trump administration during the (ongoing) deportation raids.
Iβm hoping to write an analysis on the paramount Warner Bros takeover and am looking for WGA veterans, producers, and other executives. If you fit this or can help connect me, Iβd be extremely grateful. Happy to grant anonymity if theyβre close in proximity to the companies.
Do I have any locals from Bastrop, Texas, on here? Curious about this proposition to rename a road after Charlie Kirk and it's relation to how heavily influenced the town is by Elon Musk over recent years.
I spoke with Venezuelan men who were imprisoned in CECOT about whether or not they will make the journey back to the US after Judge Boasberg ordered that they receive due process. Here are their responses.
I spoke with Victor Villa, the owner of Villaβs Tacos, who was featured on Bad Bunnyβs Super Bowl halftime show about the message he has for Latinos still hiding from ICE and for his response to the halftime slot. Full story coming to @dailykos.com this weekend

I spoke with multiple Venezuelans who fled their home country out of fear for their lives, seeking political asylum in the US. Full story on @dailykos.com
But overall, Venezuelans across the Americas have one shared sentiment of hope. Hope for change, and hope to return home one day.
This trust, and hope, that Trump will follow through with pushing out the Chavista administration emanates across the Venezuelans Iβve spoken with over the past two weeks
However, the US president stated earlier he has no plan to push for a regime change.
βI simply fight for the freedom of my country, and if President Trump is one of those people who helps our country emerge from this misfortune that has lasted more than 26 years, then he has all my recognition and all my gratitude,β Cancines told us.
Cancines spoke out against the Chavista admin and was later targeted. He was shot at, chased. Cancines then made the journey to the US alongside his wife. Since the capture of Maduro, he has posted a handful of pro Trump content. When I asked, he explained one important distinction.
I spoke with Carlos Cancines, a 31YO Venezuelan military veteran who served under Maduro. After seeing the suffering and persecution of fellow country men, Cancines left his military career. He and his wife traveled across the border to Colombia, where he opened a restaurant.

Trump has labeled himself sitting president of Venezuela. However, his control over the country is much rockier than he'd like to admit.
In this story, I speak with connections to Venezuela's opposition and break down some of the reasons why this plan to control Venezuela doesn't look so great.
I spoke with Nixon Leal, a young Venezuelan man who came to the US on political asylum. Full interview along with others coming soon on @dailykos.com

Thank you for your input! I am a reporter, writing the news and interviewing people. Itβs not my job to enable, to resist, to do anything other than write/report. In a time when trust in journalists is low, Iβll choose accuracy. And, unfortunately, for now itβs still the T-K center, lawsuit pending
Toby Morton, former South Park and MadTV writer, nabbed the website domains for the Trump Kennedy Center before the administration could.
Check out my conversation with him, and TK Center President Ric Grenell, below.
I wrote on Lily Allen's latest album, her heartbreaking regailing of infidelity, and how we have all been Lily ... or Madeline.
Iβve been worried about group chats leaking before but itβs usually just because I spent too long complaining about my ex or someone did enough internet sleuthing to find their crushβs Instagram.
This is⦠appalling.
Full interview and transcript with @katmabu.bsky.social β the 26 year old congressional candidate for Illinoisβ 9th district.
Would be a disservice if I didn't share my interview with Saikat Chakrabarti, who is running against Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco. Chakrabarti was a co-founder of Justice Democrats, who helped @aoc.bsky.social rise to prominence and, ultimately, to Congress.
