As a gay man, I’ve been cautioned about being flamboyant: ‘If you want people to take you seriously, butch it up.’ So, I’ve learned to cultivate a cool aesthetic – to be less troublesome. But in this #podcast, I want to remind myself, and perhaps you too, that sometimes we need to be troublesome.
