As soon as we've passed it and received all the necessary certificates, we can head out on rotation again. This is all, too, part of civil sea rescue: repairs, inspections, certificates. No ship can go out without all of that! Thanks to our hard working crew and all that support us.
And what else has been happening? A lot! We're still in dry dock in Licata with the Sea Punk I, and many hardworking hands are working daily to complete the maintenance and repairs. The mandatory inspection is coming up soon.

Vergessen wir auch sie nicht!
Wenn sie in Europa ankommen, werden sie systematisch kriminalisiert, um ihnen den Zugang zum Asylsystem zu verwehren. Es beginnt damit, dass Migration als illegal geframed wird und kann auch drakonische Haftstrafen bedeuten - ...
Wo die EU-Staaten in einer bewussten politischen Entscheidung, Menschen auf der Flucht ihre Rechte und jegliche Solidarität versagen.
Menschen werden zur Flucht gezwungen, weil ihre Heimat zerstört wird – auch durch europäische Exporte und deutsche Waffen.
Wir kämpfen mit Maja und mit allen Menschen, die für ihre antifaschistischen Überzeugungen einstehen. Auf den Staat können wir uns nicht verlassen!
Könnten wir das, dann bräuchte es auch keine zivile Seenotrettung im Mittelmeer!
Gegen zwei weitere Angeklagte, Anna M. und Gabriele M. wurden die Urteile in deren Abwesenheit verkündet. Anna M. wurde zu zwei Jahren Haft auf Bewährung verurteilt, Gabriele M. zu sieben Jahren Freiheitsstrafe.
