Had to get up early to get a haircut, but it was worth it.

All my best social media posts have typos.
Cansequently, this is also my arguement for artists not needing pain or hardship to create art. They just need the security to be able to live their life. Art is a natural consequence of living.
One million dollars is how you afford a gap year to put one comic in the back pocket, just in case you need to take some time off.
Too much money.
If I had a million dollars, I could *publish* comics.
That distracts from making them.
$900k is fine though. I could concentrate just fine with that.
Also, they use these shorter episodes so well. They don't feel too short or long.
If I'm right, that has i.plicatio about his arc that... Nope, I refuse to speculate.
Hope to make time to watch to the other half tonight.
I've been there and probably will be again and again.
I feel like acting is his thing because it's all putting on masks to better become something he isn't quite. (There's a line about "code switching all over the place" that stands out and while he's probably talking about race.... yeah.)
Morning thought.
I don't know if they intended for Simon to be on the spectrum, but I feel his frustrations in my soul.
Stuck in his head, over-thinking over/under-communicating, and accidently undermining his personal and professional relationships.
Binged the first half of Wonder Man tonight. Y'all were right, it's great!
I like the grounded stuff where you see how the world is coping with all the craziness. It's a background element here, but it's important. The Doorman episode takes that head on at the midpoint, which is where I left off.
I do have my exceptions. Hero Realms ( by White Wizard Games) and Sentinels of the Multiverse( by Greater Than Games) are almost automatic purchases for me.
And when it comes to buying game stuff in general, It's rare that expansions are useful to me. In RPGS, I usually just make up my own stuff. In board games, I rarely have a dedicated group that can learn the base game well enough to make expansions viable.
I used to own a shop and I was, for many years, a big booster of running thing at the local FLGS. I've simply fallen out of sync with them regarding my free time and interests. It happens. And runnig games/RPG at my local library is a greater good than at the local shop.
Not at all, really.
I used to visit weekly when I collected physical comics and/or played a TCG.
The remainder of my tabletop gaming purchases (RPGs and board/card games) are so infrequent, I restrict them to our annual trip to PAXU where there's more variety and I can play demos.
Every time I run into one of these road bumps, I just bounce off the whole thing. It takes a lot to go back again and again to deal with it. My mind doesn't want to stay on it. It's draining.
Maybe it's the autism and I'm being hard on myself. I just wish this wasnt a struggle.
Speaking of, I'm waiting on info from insurance on how the durable medical equipment policy works, because that is apparently a separate $7k deductible. My normal deductible is covered by work with a benefits card. If this is separate from that, I have to reconsider as our other costs rise.
Scammy as hell.
After a week of harassing me to make the appointment, they finally dropped that requirement.
I have reported them to the office that recommended me to them. (Dear God, do I sound like an cranky old man right now). I need to check with insurance to see if there more alternatives.
I have bad sleep apnea and need a CPAP. That requires a visit to an equipment provider of which there are only two in the area. Neither will schedule even the initial appointment for a fitting without a credit card on file. The first company called me and asked for that over the phone.
I *hate* engaging with health care services, in general. The minute I need something, its always a struggle. I know I don't have anywhere near the same issue or problems others do, but that just makes me madder. It shouldn't be hard for anyone.
To be fair, I did this on my phone which has a nice OLED screen.

Planning a heist and then the server at the tavern let's drop that our target is actually upstairs. Hijinks ensue.
RNGeezus, we are rolling high tonight.
We stumble across another known NPC in the scramble. The GM is trying to use our ADHD against us.
New thought, "sidekick damage".
I love D&D with this group. I get the best ideas with them.
Imagine: a vampire money lender. Very popular as you only pay back the same amount as borrowed, but the vig is paid in blood.
OK.. Thor has been great too.
I know it sounds like I'm naming a lot, but Marvel puts out *a lot* of contact every week. I swear this is less than half.
I don't want them to become DC, but I think they would benefit from slowing down some to refine and explore some ideas more.
And to cap it all off, I think the Ultimate books are consistently the best ongoing thing Marvel has right now, and that looks like it's coming to a head soon.
And I'll throw a nod to Mile Morales and Ghost Spider. They are doing too much, too fast with both characters, but they are at least trying interesting things.
Seriously, a clone, vampirism, Wakanda connections, and a familiar for Anansi? Miles is going through it.
... The 90s Age of Apocalypse that inspired it.
The Kylo Ren series is better than expected too.
The whole situations with Peter Parker, Norman Osborn, and Tombstone in the past year or so have been good reading.
Despite my dissatisfaction with Marvel Comics in general, I have to say that I am surprised with the quality of the Age of Revelation even in the X-books.
The lead in was ass and I feel like this is the second best direction they could have gone, but it is much more focused and well done than...
