i’m a film critic. so when I write a review I’ve said what I’ve had to say. i think of criticism as something that ends. you have to finish the essay. there has to be an ending point in your critique. then you must move on.

People can say it’s utopian or dreamy but it’s a fact that you have to believe new things are possible, fundamentally, in order to make them real.
