At the same time I wonder though if they are/were systemically erased by Titan. Like the peoples used to have a name but are now just called "humans" since they're so similar to them anyways.

Something that I really like from Ava's Demon is that they refer to "humanoids" as just "humans" I like that, that seperation between humans as we know them vs fantasy humans is hardly there.

i don't have any easy answers to this, i just think it's really humiliating how much people who make games have this default expectation that they have to totally subjugate themselves to joe gamer and the whims of the market and act so blessed and grateful to be there the whole time
