That method seems to work for me (Firefox 145.0.2, Ubuntu), weirdly. I am using the following link to get to the Login referral which works, and does not have the constant loading or status 400 bad request:

Using the link to the eRA main page and letting it redirect you to the login seems to consistently work for me.
I pulled up the packet sniffer for the page, and it’s trying and failing to access a resource on a dot dev node, so clearly someone is leaving in bad URIs that are internal only.
