Honestly, hanging out at KEXP before going to a hockey game at CPA feels very Seattle and I love it. What better way to spend my birthday! It's a cool reminder that I (with the help of so many people) made my dreams come true. That's the best birthday gift I could ask for.

I moved across the country to WA and have been working as a counselor since October. It has been a wild, wonderful ride!
I'm starting to SLOWLY rejoin the world after everything that happened. I've been updating my LinkedIn, working on coding (reactive web design currently), and doing some other things to hopefully get myself set up to move in the next year. Suggestions for remote work are welcome.
I'm just putting this out there as good practice.
I came home to a home that is no longer mine because the locks were changed. I simply said I needed space and a break to figure things out, and this was his reaction.
So, I am essentially without a home and trying to move across the country alone.
So, I got loudly complimented by a woman in her car as I crossed the street.
How long do I wait for a wonderful woman to consensually whisk me away?
Seattle is truly amazing, and I love it.

I want to move. But I'm in a relationship with someone that also feels like it's time for it to come to an end (for my own sanity and happiness at this point).
And both of those things are scary. So is the fact that I am a blind person currently on a fixed income unable to work in my area.
I feel like I'm on the verge of a lot of change. I am terrified. I'm also a bit excited. And I'm trying desperately not to overwhelm myself because it's possible that nothing will come of it. Or that's been my past experience anyway.
