This is wildly common in chronic illness because doctors are taught to cure and not treat. So they’re not flexible or imaginative and if it doesn’t work the way they were taught or expect they can’t just mark it in their win column so it’s not worth their time and now you’re making them work

I think it's worth it. So far I've only had one major complaint about anything in it (and that says a lot), which was being forced to choose your gender at the beginning but then literally being able to fully customize everything right after (and Pokemon use they/them for you as far as I can tell).
